1993

Contopsa is founded in San Antonio , starting with a headcount of six people being dedicated to container storage.

1995

10-year concession for an area of 15.470m² within the port of San Antonio , in addition we now offer EMR services to our customers.

1996

Due to the increasing demand for container transport new storage and EMR facilities are opened in Iquique and Puerto Montt.

1997

First Power-pack was built.
At that time more than 110 people are working for Contopsa

1998

Container depot in Arica is established and the area in the port of San Antonio is expanded by 18.000m².

2000

The depot in Santiago opens its gates and has storage space of 20.000m² available.

2004

Laying of the foundation stone at the new head office and depot in Malvilla, San Antonio.

2005

Operations start in Malvilla, San Antonio on an area of about 130.000m².
The operations within the port of San Antonio are moved to the new facility after the leasing contract with the port authorities expired.

2005- Now

Further expansions have been undertaken in San Antonio , offering more than 170.000m² for empty container storage.
